Well Darkfall turned out to be a disaster, didn't it? lol oh well another one bites the dust.

Have you guys looked into Crowfall or Camelot Unchained yet?

I am a backer of CU so I have definitely looked into it. lol

Haven't really looked too much at Crowfall so far. I have heard some good things about it, however.

Right now.. I am interested in Black Desert Online.. as you might have seen.

Hi Kaliaa, yeah it has been a long time hasn't it? The lack of good games makes me take long breaks.

Glad to hear you are a backer of CU. I am too. What level did you back? I did the Warrior Forever.

Crowfall is growing on me too. I backed that one at the Contributor level in the kickstarter and then upgraded to Sapphire. Crowfall is drawing the Shadowbane crowd and CAmelot is drawing the DAoC crowd. This is like 2001 all over again lol. I wrote up a comparison of the two I'll share with you.

I also got married and had a boy.

How are things here? I just heard a little bit of Black Desert the other day. Is it a korean mmo?

I will be taking a look at Crowfall again. Camelot is a ways out there yet. Backer level I am Forever. We'll see how it pans out.

BDO is Korean. In fact playing on the KR server off and on now. There is very good English patch. NA/EU CBT2 starts on Feb 18. No NA/EU release date as of yet. They have said there will be no open beta. It's pay to play for NA and EU because it was requested by the player base hoping to remove some of the problems with other F2P games. The KR version will be F2P.

He is 6 months old. Very happy baby.

I will check out Black Desert. The only thing I'm leery about with the asian mmo's is that GRIND! I encountered that in Lineage II, Silkroad Online, Allods etc... They must enjoy pain or something. Do you know anything about the grind in BDO?

Crowfall is a year out or more too so both CU and CF are those long term waiting games. You know how those go.

I've been playing the KR some but Deadman has spent a lot more time on it so far. Doesn't seem to me that it's grindy at lower levels but after 50 I think it gets that way. I'll see if I can get him to answer your question with actual knowledge. lol

Agreed both CF and CU are a ways out yet. BDO might fill the gap until one of them at least is ready. Guess we'll see.

Agreed... just have to see which one.. turns out the best.. of course there is a good possibility that there will be some time between the releases.
